Particularitati farmacologice :
Remediu antiparazitar pentru uz extern. Activ fata de Sarcoptes scabiei, paduchi (Pediculus capitis si Pthyrus pubis) si capuse. Acarienii pier in decurs de cca. 30 min., paduchii in 2-5 ore.
Indicatii :
Scabia. Pediculoza capului si ftiroza. Capusele.
Utilizare terapeutica :
Emulsia: se prepara suspensie proaspata pentru adulti din 2 g sapun de rufe dizolvat in 78 ml apa la care se adauga 20 ml emulsie de benzilbenzoat si se agita energic. Cu un tampon de vata sau tifon se aplica pe piele (cu exceptia capului si gitului). Peste 10 min. procedura se repeta. Pentru copii se iau respectiv 2 g sapun, 88 ml apa si 10 ml emulsie de benzilbenzoat. Unguentul: in pediculoza capului sau ftiroza pubisului se aplica pe pielea regiunii respective prin frictiune (in ftiroza se aplica si pe suprafetele adiacente - abdomen, pliurile inghinale, suprafata interna a coapselor) in zilele 1, 3 si 5 o data pe zi (seara). In ziua a 8-a pielea se spala cu sapun, iar parul se clateste cu solutie 3% de acid acetic. La necesitate tratamentul se repeta. In tratamentul scabiei unguentul se aplica seara pe toata suprafata corpului, exceptind fata si scalpul. Miinile nu se spala. A 4-a zi unguentul se aplica inca o data, pacientul imbraca lenjerie si haine dezinfectate. A 5-a zi pacientul isi face baie, isi schimba lenjeria de corp si de pat. Pentru o aplicatie se foloseste 30-40 g unguent, pentru o cura 60-80 g.Indicatii speciale: Dupa aplicarea emulsiei bolnavul isi schimba albiturile si lenjeria. Nu se spala nici pe miini 3 zile dupa care isi face baie.
Contra indicatii :
Hipersensibilitatea la preparat. Sarcina si lactatia.
Precautii :
A se pazi ochii si mucoasele de preparat. Dezinsectia lenjeriei de corp si de pat, precum si a imbracamintei este obligatorie.
