Compozitia si forma de prezentare: capsule 150 mg.

Actiunea farmacologica: Inhibitor selectiv al demetilarii sterolilor fungici in C14-alfa mediate de Citocromul 450. In rezultat, lanosterolul celulei fungice nu se transforma in ergosterol, ceea ce conduce la cresterea permeabilitatii membranei, stoparea cresterii si replicarii celulei. Preparatul se acumuleaza in piele, atingand in ea concentratii de 10 ori superioare celor plasmatice.

INDICATII
Candidozele sistemice, orofarngiene, vaginale, cutanate. Profilaxia infectiilor micotice la bolnavii cu neoplazii maligne. Meningita cu criptococ. Coccidiomicozele cu Coccidioides immitis. Criptococozele (formele meningeale si extrameningeale cu Cryptococcus neoformans). Onicomicozele cu Trichophyton spp. si Candida spp. Dermatomicozele (tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manum, tinea pedis). Pytiriasis versicolor (tinea versicolor).

DOZE SI MOD DE ADMINISTRARE
Adulti si adolescenti - in candidoza sistemica si meningita criptococica 400 mg o data pe zi pana la disparitia simptomelor, apoi 200-400 mg o data pe zi timp de 10-12 saptamani dupa ce LCR devine steril. Candidoza orofaringeana si esofageana 50-100 mg pe zi timp de 7-14 zile sau mai mult la bolnavii cu imunodeficit. Candidoza vaginala 150 mg o singura data. Alte forme de candidoze ale mucoaselor 50-100 mg o data pe zi timp de 14-30 zile. Profilaxia micozelor la pacientii cu neoplazii maligne 50 mg o data pe zi. Micozele pielii 150 mg o data pe saptamana sau 50 mg o data pe zi timp de 2-4 saptamani, in dermofitia picioarelor (tinea pedis) pana la 6 saptamani. In pytiriasis versicolor 50 mg o data pe zi timp de 2-4 saptamani. In administrarea parenterala dozele sunt aceleasi. In scopuri profilactice 400 mg o data pe zi timp indelungat (saptamani sau luni). Copii sub 3 ani in candidozele superficiale 1-2 mg/kg, in cele sistemice si criptococoza 3-6 mg/kg o data pe zi. Durata tratamentului ca la adulti.

CONTRAINDICATII
Hipersensibilitatea la preparat, afectiunile hepatice si renale, lactatia, copiii sub 2 ani.

ATENTIONARI SI PRECAUTII SPECIALE DE UTILIZARE
Sarcina (se va administra numai in cazuri exceptionale). In timpul lactatiei copilul se va lua de la san. La pacientii sensibili pot avea loc reactii anafilactice.
