Actiunea farmacologica: Stimuleaza utilizarea glucozei si metabolismul tesutului nervos, amelioreaza circulatia cerebrala, microcirculatia in zonele ischemice, creste rezistenta tesutului nervos la leziunile provocate de hipoxie, intoxicatii, electrosoc. Stimuleaza activitatea integrativa a creierului.
INDICATII
Afectiunile memoriei, vertijul, scaderea concentrarii atentiei, labilitatea emotionala, dementa provocata de dereglarile circulatorii encefalice, traumele cerebrale, boala Alzheimer- coma de provenienta vasculara, traumatica sau toxica- tratamentul sindromului de abstinenta si psiho-organic al alcoolicilor- dificultatile cognitive ale copiilor, anemia drepanocitara.
DOZE SI MOD DE ADMINISTRARE
30-160 mg/kg/zi divizata in 2-4 prize. Initial adultilor li se administreaza 800 mg de 3 ori pe zi inainte de masa. Dupa ameliorarea starii pacientului doza se reduce la 400 mg de 3 ori pe zi. Cura de tratament constituie 6-8 saptamani. In cazurile severe preparatul se administreaza i.m. sau i.v. in doza initiala de 10 g/zi, in cazurile grave 12 g/zi. Dupa ameliorarea starii pacientului se trece la administrarea perorala. Copii 30-50 mg/kg/zi divizata in 2-3 prize. Durata tratamentului 3 saptamani.
CONTRAINDICATII
Insuficienta hepatica severa (clearance-ul creatininei sub 20 ml/min), sarcina, lactatia, hipersensibilitatea la preparat.
ATENTIONARI SI PRECAUTII SPECIALE DE UTILIZARE
Insuficienta renala. Se recomanda controlul sistematic al functiei renale.
