Actiunea farmacologica: Alfa-adrenoblocant cu efect vasodilatator predominant cerebral. Creste irigatia sanguina encefalica si utilizarea oxigenului de catre tesutul nervos. In dozele terapeutice influenteaza putin tensiunea arteriala sistemica, insa la pacientii cu hipertensiune arteriala o poate cobora treptat.
INDICATII
Insuficienta circulatorie encefalica acuta si cronica, inclusiv ateroscleroza vaselor encefalice, afectiunile dinamice ale circulatiei cerebrale, trombozele si emboliile vaselor creierului. Migrena. Bolile obliterante ale vaselor membrelor, boala Raynaud. Hipertensiunea arteriala si criza hipertensiva (adjuvant).
DOZE SI MOD DE ADMINISTRARE
Cate 5-10 mg de 3 ori pe zi p.o. sau cate 2-4 mg de 2 ori pe zi i.m. sau cate 4-8 mg in perfuzie i.v. Poate fi administrata i.a. cate 4 mg.
CONTRAINDICATII
Hipotensiunea severa, hipersensibilitatea la nicergolina.
ATENTIONARI SI PRECAUTII SPECIALE DE UTILIZARE
Dupa administrarea i.m. sau i.v. pacientul trebuie sa se afle in pozitie orizontala timp de cateva minute pentru a evita riscul hipotensiunii ortostatice.
