Actiunea farmacologica: Loperamidul inhiba motilitatea intestinala, dar stimuleaza absorbtia apei si electrolitior din intestin. Manifesta actiune directa asupra muschilor circulari si longitudinali ai peretelui intestinal. Efectul se explica prin interactiunea cu receptorii opioizi intestinali dupa tipul codeinei, insa fara efecte centrale, deoarece loperamidul nu depaseste bariera hematoencefalica. Tonusul sfincterului anal creste. In rezultat loperamidul reduce volumul maselor fecale si pierderile de lichide si electroliti.
Simethicone, care este parte din Loflatila, este un agent tensioactiv inerte care elimina bulele de gaz in intestin cand flatulenta reducand tensiunea superficiala. Nu are o actiune centrala.
INDICATII
Diareea nespecifica si diareea cronica asociata cu bolile inflamatorii intestinale.
DOZE SI MOD DE ADMINISTRARE
Pentru adulti si copii peste 12 ani doza initiala este 2 comprimate , se administreaza cite 1comprimat dupa fiecare act de defecare, dar nu mai mult de 2-4 comprimate pe zi. Durata nu mai mult de 2 zile.

- colita acuta ulcerativa pseudomembranoasa
-constipatie, obstructie intestinala

ATENTIONARI SI PRECAUTII SPECIALE DE UTILIZARE
Daca efectul antidiareic nu este timp de 48 ore tratamentul se sisteaza. In diareea infectioasa a turistilor (cu Shigella, Salmonella, unele tulpini de E. coli), tratamentul cu loperamid poate da febra.
Conditii de Pastrare:Se depoziteaza intr-un loc uscat la o temperatura de la mai mult de 25°c.
Nu se utilizeaza dupa data de expirare declarat pe ambalaj.
